Symptoms

1. You start Acronis Media Builder to create a bootable media.
2. Operation fails with error:
   Invalid media. Provide another media and try again.

Cause

The media you try to write Acronis bootable components to is write-protected or damaged.

Solution

1. Make sure the media you use is not write-protected.
2. Use another media.
