Symptoms
Nonstop backup disappears from the list of backups in Acronis True Image interface when Acronis Nonstop Backup service is stopped
Cause
This is expected behavior. Acronis True Image cannot perform Nonstop backup without Acronis Nonstop Backup service running in background. By default Acronis Nonstop Backup Service starts automatically with the system. However, user or third-party applications can change the startup type to Manual or Disabled. In this case the software hides the respective backups from the user interface until Acronis Nonstop Backup Service is up and running.
Solution
Make sure that Acronis Nonstop Backup Service is started and its startup type is set to Automatic:
1. Press Win+R and type services.msc in the Run window to open Services
2. Find Acronis Nonstop Backup Service in the list. Check the service Status: if it is not Running, right-click on the service and select Start
3. Check the service Startup type. If it is not Automatic, right-click on the service and select Properties. In Properties window change service startup type to Automatic
4. Restart Acronis True Image
