Applies to: Acronis True Image 2019 for Mac, build 14170
Symptoms
- You use macOS Mojave and Acronis True Image 2019 Build 14170
- You perform an entire Mac restoration or recovery of all disk volumes of a disk
- After recovery is finished, Boot Camp is missing from Mac boot menu.
- Boot Camp partition is also not selectable in macOS System Preferences Startup Disk selection screen. The following note is displayed: The bless tool was unable to set the current boot disk.
Cause
Issue in the product.
Solution
Use the following workaround to restore system bootability: restore just EFI and Boot Camp partitions after a complete disk/entire Mac restoration. This will return Boot Camp entry to the boot menu and make it selectable in the System Preferences.
