Description

The M1 is Apple’s new silicon system on a chip using ARM64 architecture. The new chip was designed to work with macOS Big Sur and it is used inside MacBook Air with M1, Apple Silicon MacBook Pro and Mac mini with M1.

It is important to note that current versions of Acronis True Image do not support devices with Apple M1 chip.

If Acronis True Image is installed on a Mac with M1 chip, it will constantly ask to restart your Mac to run Acronis True Image.

Acronis is working on implementing support for devices with Apple M1 chip, which will be released as an update of Acronis True Image 2021. This article will be updated when support for Apple M1 chip is implemented.
