At Acronis we are committed to providing the best possible user experience to our customers. Our product development process assesses feature sets, user behaviors, Operating System support and industry trends on a continual basis. As part of that comprehensive process we add new features every year, and remove others that become dated or less relevant due to changes in the computing landscape.
After carefully evaluating customer interest and use, Acronis True Image will no longer offer the ability to back up Facebook and Instagram data.
• Starting from April 2019, no new social media backups can be created
• Existing social media backups will be available for download until August 2019
• After that date, all social media backup files will be deleted from Acronis’ servers
Acronis' reason for this decision is the following: very few Acronis customers use this feature and Facebook continues to place greater access restrictions while requiring constant technical changes. This combination of factors means supporting this feature is no longer tenable.
